Singapore

Mom woke me up the other day and said "Oi, go Singapore lor".

Another sudden trip.

I started washing up and pack my things. It was at night when I reached Singapore.

Swissotel, 60th floor.

The room was overlooking Clarke Quay, the place where I saw the night kite. I was so excited I ran quickly to the balcony just as I stepped in to the hotel room. I love the night view, so nice okay!! The clouds were so low I could nearly touch them!! =D

I like this donut from donut factory lor. Chocolate + Red bean. I didn't know putting these two together can taste so good.

The next day I just walked around the shopping complex below the hotel. I've been there so many times I can memorise the route from Raffles City to Marina Bay to Suntec City to anywhere around there la.

I've seen the Esplanade so many times from the outside but it was my first time going there through the underground tunnel from Raffles City.

Ad by Nokia on the way to the Esplanade. I like it because it's so colourful and bright.

This is like a graffitti.

At first when I saw this I thought Singapore being such a clean country had a corner for people to simply draw and express themselves, much like the Speaker's corner in Hyde Park, London where people could speak anything just at that corner. I was really tempted to draw on the wall till I realised that they were there not by chance! (-.-!)

The walls were decorated with interesting art designs. Some designs were really odd. But then again it's art; funny, odd, make-no-sense *anything* is considered beautiful.

I dunno what was 'happneos'. Or did I see it wrongly? Anyway inside the lime-green boxes were things like sewing needles, books, etc.

Back to relax in the hotel. It was raining out there when I had this picture taken.

I have this bad habit that when I am in a new place, I just don't feel like going out. I like to stay in and relax and sleep and I always get scolded for this. My brother would say "COME ALL THE WAY TO SLEEP ARRRR??!!!"

Then I would drag myself to the bathroom and wash up and go out; cranky all the way.

But then I would be fine after a while when I am out there. I would be so excited and have no regrets for sacrificing my sleep hehe =))))

Overall I did nothing much over there. Just stayed in the hotel and went down to the shopping complex. The Singapore Sales was not that great. After convert the price was the same or more expensive. Basically just went there to see night view and walk walk abit =)
