i'm back! =)

on the way to london heathrow airport

goodness me! Malaysia is so stuffy! I went out KLIA's entrance to wait for my parents but I couldn't take it and went back inside. It's so warm I couldn't breathe!

It's kinda weird being home again after so long. The door knob doesn't feel right, the floor doesn't feel right, the air doesn't feel right...

I took out cold water from the fridge and left it there on the table. I forgot it's warm in Malaysia.

I was making instant noodles and I almost took the water from the tap. I forgot we can't drink from the tap in Malaysia.

london to kl

I almost said "hiya" to the cashier at Giant supermarket. I forgot that unlike everywhere in the UK (at least all the places which I have been to) cashier and customer greet each other.

I felt so awkward when the cashier just took my stuff and put them in a bag and the whole process was so silent and no eye contact.

arriving in 3 minutes!

I felt really bad too in KLIA when I asked something in English, I was given the answer in broken English but with a really wide smile. When I asked something in Malay, the answer was given in a rude manner and there was no eye contact.

arrived in kl. picture taken from my window seat.

6 days now and I'm losing the accent already. But I'm still listening to UK's radio station on the internet so here and there there's still a bit left. But I guess it's better I lose it all.

had the flight attendants to give me orange juice in my bottle.
bottle compressed due to air pressure.

I have a bit of jet lag this time. But it's not that bad and i'm starting to get used to things now.

Above all, even though I miss the lifestyle and people in the UK, it's good to be back home =)
