I was a blur case

I kinda regret not understanding what I learned when I was in primary school.
I must be really blur or I was just... I dunno.
I realised that I don't know much about the chinese history.
I remember I came across lots of "keywords" like 三国时代 (the three kingdoms), 唐朝 (the Tang Dynasty), and many others la... lots of 朝s.
So I thought they were kinda dry and I guess I thought they were fictional?
And they were the ones I hated the most for the comprehension section coz I didn't understand many words. I usually liked some stories about cats and birds and tortoise =.='

I remember there was once in standard 3 my mom twisted my ear for getting 31/50 in class. That was the bomb la. that's the only time she was angry over my result if I'm not mistaken lol because I would usually get 20+/50 in class, then suddenly dropped. But really, it was only that time she "did something" about my studies. Other than that, I had my say in my studies all the time.

I remember in standard 2 造句 (bina ayat) there's a word for 3 marks (usually 2 marks), and the word was 难为情... I think it's like "embarrassed"? And I mixed that up with "年轻人" (youngster).... I DON'T KNOW HOW. I think it's because of the "qing" that sounds almost the same. So I guess my sentence was something like "他和那难为情一起出去" (he and that embarrass go out together)............sad wei.

There were many things I understood only when I was in secondary school or college... Sometimes things I memorised in standard 6 come to me just like that and only then will I understand. I don't know how this happens.

so well right now I'm interested in the chinese history and I'm just thinking to myself "what was I doing back then!"

Right now (now now, at this hour and minute) I'm trying hard to think of a word. This word was........ (ok right now I remember the word after about an hour of hard thinking, but leme just continue).
This word is used to describe a person walking left to right, right to left, or in other words, up and down, down and up.... happens when a person is nervous, in deep thoughts, etc. So I asked my mom if she knew of any word in cantonese that describes this situation.
