A bit of here and there, all in Scotland

EDINBURGH

Took a picture here coz I took a picture here last 3 years but was in summer clothing and now just a constrast to it.

At the back of me was the Edinburgh Castle. It was closed on that day because the wind was too strong.

Not a good pic coz it was so cold and couldn't really hold the cam properly. Just a glimpse of Edinburgh Castle at night. It's the one on the right top.

This palace is the Queen's official residence when she visits Scotland.

HIGHLAND TOUR

Glencoe. It was cold and drizzling and windy. Ran back to the tour bus after this picture.

Terribly windy. The bus stopped for tourist to have whisky tasting.

I can't remember the name of this park. Anyway, the water at the left side of the pic was frozen. There's a different shade of white in the pic if you realised.

Pitlochry. A place famous for Heather Gem. It's like jewelry made by compressing colourful plants or something like that. Not cheap. It was about 4.30pm or 5pm when we were there so most of the shops were closed.

DUNDEE

Discovery. This is the ship that went to Antarctica or something.

Dundee town.

HAHA!

GLASGOW
Took a picture here before. It was in one of my posts back then but that was day time during summer.

Lights from xmas?

First time with fried Haggis. From the shop that my bro claimed to be the bestest.

Haggis = sheep's internal organs.
I think it was a wrong choice to add on salt and vinegar because it was so salty I couldn't eat it. I didn't finish it.
BUT, I had Haggis pizza before and it was good.

ST ANDREWS

St Andrews harbour. Well, St Andrews is where Prince William studied. The place is not that big. From the harbour to the University is maybe about 10minutes walk.
It was really windy on that day and drizzling. See how my hair flew.

The Castle that I see nothing except a bit of wall but it cost about 7pound to go in.

ICE CREAM!! yeah during winter lol!
Was told that I had to try coz apparently they have the bestest ice cream.
It was vanilla + Fererro Rocher. It was good =)
I was freezing inside and outside but it was a good experience haha!
There were many places that I have been to before so sometimes I don't wanna take that many pics because it's freezing and I don't really wanna do anything. Sometimes the strong wind or the freezing cold weather makes it difficult to stabilise the camera.
So what I did was to take memory picture haha
I hope I don't lose my memory!

highland tour? Did you go through any travel agent/operator?

I'm thinking of going to Spain end of the year but I can't seem to find tour packages (with tour guides/buses to bring us around). Most of them are hotels & flight/coach fees only.

yeah i booked on website. rabbies.com or somethin like that. it was good. just that the weather wasnt that good. go in summer.

i dont recommend tour in european countries. best to do research n go on ur own. tour is very tiring and u cant really have time for yourself. thats what happened to my mom n bro. but why go end of this year omg shud travel in summer if can.

family is coming end of year for my graduation so planning to go there together. Tour is better i think. No need to plan and it's cheaper also coz it comes in a whole package. No one wants to travel with me in summer. All my friends are wanting to either go home / find a job. So lifeless.
